چکیده
توسعه شبكه هاي قدرت نوسانات خود به خودي با فركانس كم را، در سيستم به همراه داشته است. بروز اغتشاش هايي نسبتاً كوچك و ناگهاني در شبكه باعث بوجود آمدن چنين نوساناتي در سيستم مي شود. در حالت عادي اين نوسانات بسرعت ميرا شده و دامنه نوسانات از مقدار معيني فراتر نمي رود. اما بسته به شرايط نقطه كار و مقادير پارامترهاي سيستم ممكن است اين نوسانات براي مدت طولاني ادامه يافته و در بدترين حالت دامنه آنها نيز افزايش يابد. امروزه جهت بهبود ميرايي نوسانات با فركانس كم سيستم، در اغلب شبكه هاي قدرت پايدار كننده هاي سيستم قدرت (PSS) به كار گرفته مي شود.
اين پايدار كننده ها بر اساس مدل تك ماشين – شين بينهايتِ سيستم در يك نقطه كار مشخص طراحي مي شوند. بنابراين ممكن است با تغيير پارامترها و يا تغير نقطه كار شبكه، پايداري سيستم در نقطه كار جديد تهديد شود. به عبارت دیگر با وجود اینکه PSS اصلی ترین و پرکاربردترین میرا ساز استفاده شده در سیستمهاي قدرت است اما این کنترلکننده تنها براي میرا سازي مدهاي محلی سیستم که مربوط به نوسان واحدهاي نیروگاهی یک نیروگاه نسبت به بقیه سیستم قدرت است مورد استفاده قرار میگیرد.
علاوه بر مد محلی، در مطالعات پایداري مد بین ناحیه اي نیز مطرح می شود. مد بین ناحیه اي مربوط به نوسانات تعدادي ماشین سنکرون در یک بخش سیستم، نسبت به ماشین هاي سنکرون سایر بخشها است. این زمانی اتفاق می افتد که دو یا چند بخش شامل تعدادي ماشین سنکرون نزدیک به هم بوسیله خطوط ارتباطی ضعیف به یکدیگر متصل شده اند. براي میراسازي این مدها، پایدارساز PSS به تنهایی قادر به پاسخگویی نیست. پس از توسعه ادوات الکترونیک قدرت وپیدایش جبران ساز هاي مبتنی بر این ادوات ومبدل هاي منبع ولتاژ، در بسیاري از نقاط دنیا، براي میرا سازي نوسانات ناحیهاي از ادوات FACTS با روشهاي کنترل مختلفی استفاده شده است. مزایاي استفاده از ادوات FACTS براي بهبود پایداري سیستم قدرت به طور کامل شناخته شده است.کنترل کننده هاي FACTS داراي قابلیت کنترل سریع شرایط شبکه هستند و میتوان این ویژگی FACTS را براي بهبود پایداري سیستم قدرت بهره گرفت که یکی از این ادوات، جبرانساز استاتیکی ولتاژ[1] (SVC) میباشد.
